Digital Dentistry

“Digital Dentistry” refers to an approach that combines traditional dentistry practices with digital technologies, offering faster, more accurate, and more comfortable dental treatments. Innovative applications in this treatment method include digital imaging, CAD/CAM technology, intraoral scanners, tele-dentistry, 3D printing, and educational simulations.

Digital dentistry represents a significant advancement in dental health by providing patients with more effective diagnoses, personalized prosthetics, rapid treatment planning, and remote health services.

This modern approach not only allows dentists to work with more precise information but also provides patients with a more comfortable and personalized treatment experience.

Digital Scanning (Impression): Traditional measurements have been replaced by digital measurements taken with intraoral scanners. There is no need for measurement spoons and silicone measuring materials, and high-precision measurements are taken with an intraoral scanner. The measurement is now a three-dimensional image in a computer environment.

Digital Design: Technicians create computer-aided designs on a three-dimensional image transmitted to the laboratory as a computer file via email. All details are obtained in a computer environment with special design programs.

Digital Tooth Production: When the design is complete, the created data is sent to a 3D printer, and tooth production is performed with the appropriate material selection. Restorations that combine edge fit, durability, and aesthetics are obtained.
